Professional Bio:

Peter is a Senior Advisor, bringing nearly four decades of investment experience to GCI. He also currently serves as a Senior Advisor for Makena Capital, where he previously spent over ten years as Managing Director and oversaw private equity and venture capital investments.

Prior to Makena, Peter served as a Managing Director at the Harvard Management Company, where he oversaw the private equity and venture capital portfolios. He also worked as a consultant at Cambridge Associates and began his career as a private equity analyst at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Peter served as a board member of the University of Virginia Investment Management Company for a ten-year period ending June 2012.

Education:

Peter earned his M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and his B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.

Personal:

Peter lives outside of Boston with his wife and has three children and two granddaughters.
